Our custom favor of the week was inspired by one of The Knot's "Top 10 Wedding Trends of 2012" - Long Sleeves & Lace. We were very excited to see lace as an upcoming wedding trend as we've been wanting to experiment and see exactly how well lace and favors could coincide. In the past, lace had been a symbolism of privilege as the working-class women created lace for the upper-class women. Now we see lace as a symbol of delicate beauty and femininity.
Along with lace as our inspiration, we used a kraft paper favor box, mocha colored organza ribbon and a satin antique gold ribbon to tie the whole look together.
